I was pleased to find this blog post, as during 2019 a new business near my home has opened and it is called Seventh Seal.
The Dance: Ingmar Bergman’s Fear of Death in THE SEVENTH SEAL.
I researched the name of the business and dsicovered that it has a connection with death. A film of the same name, produced by a Swedish film director, Ingar Bergman, was based on his own personal attempt to manage his anxiety of death. In Jordan Wegner’s blog post he explains how and why death becomes personified in the film. I have now to find a version with subtitles to watch and enjoy on a Sunday afternoon.
