Ham Down Woodland Burial Ground is in Dorset
It is situated in an outstanding position with an uninterrupted view of Hambledon Hill.
This small woodland burial ground of 2 acres was originally a vineyard consequently it is sited in an area renowned for its conservation features.
It has great variety of trees and shrubs therefore offers a peaceful place for relatives of the deceased to visit.
Sharpham Meadow is unique in the South West as an eco-burial site because it is not a woodland and there are no trees.
The site is cared for as a hay meadow, hence the grass is allowed to grow long and cut periodically.
This allows flora and fauna to flourish there – including skylarks, hares and wild flowers.
