Before Brian married Joan, they purchased an albacore sailing dinghy. They bought the wooden boat in kit form and built it together in a building in Hope Square, which is now Pilgrim House.
Brian and Joan got engaged in this boat before the start of a race at Castle Cove Sailing club. They won it too!
