In a short interview recorded in 2019 Brian speaks about his childhood memories of growing up in Weymouth, Dorset, during World War Two.
He was a pupil at Holy Trinity Infants School, which was bombed in 1940. He was also a member of Holy Trinity Church choir, but was very mischievous, as you will discover in the interview. When he was six years old he witnessed the bombing of H.M.S. Foylebank in Portland Harbour, and emotionally speaks about his memories of witnessing this event.
